Drunk Dare Turned First Stream. Woke Up with $150 in Tokens.
Saturday night. Home alone. Bottle of Jameson. Bad decisions incoming.
I'd been reading stories on this site all week. The roommate dare. The bachelor party. I kept thinking "that's wild, I'd never do that." Sober Me has very responsible opinions about things.
Drunk Me has different priorities.
What I Remember
Around midnight, three whiskeys deep, I apparently decided it was time. I vaguely remember creating an account on Chaturbate. I definitely remember thinking "this is a terrible idea" and doing it anyway. Classic.
I went live in my boxers, sitting on my couch, clearly a bit drunk. My "content strategy" was: exist. That was it. I just sat there, chatted with people, laughed a lot (whiskey giggles), and apparently was very entertaining.
What My Dashboard Told Me
Woke up Sunday morning, headache, checked my phone. I had an email from Chaturbate saying my stream had ended after 2 hours and 14 minutes. My token balance: roughly $150 worth.
I also had 23 followers and about 40 messages. Most of them were variations of "you're hilarious" and "come back soon."
Apparently Drunk Me is way more entertaining than Sober Me. Noted.
The Aftermath
I spent most of Sunday debating whether to delete the account and pretend it never happened. But $150 is $150. And the messages were genuinely nice. Nobody was creepy. Nobody was pushy. People just... enjoyed watching a tipsy dude vibe on his couch.
I went live again on Wednesday. Sober this time. Made $65. People said I was "more polished but less funny." Fair feedback.
I've now done five streams. I found the balance โ one drink to take the edge off, but not enough to black out the revenue. Professional drunk uncle vibes. People love it.
If liquid courage is what you need, pour yourself one and give it a shot. Just maybe set a whiskey limit first.
